***DISCLAIMER: New Hands-On Kitchen Cooking Class Operating Procedures***

New York Kitchen is taking measures to ensure the safety of all guests and staff in our classes as well as throughout our building. We have implemented new operating procedures in our classes to follow the mandated guidelines from the CDC. These include: Class capacity has been reduced from 24 to 12 guests maximum, at least 6-feet of distance between guests, hand sanitizers and disinfectants readily available throughout the classroom and building, and gloves will be provided, and guests must wear their own facial covering.

We want to give guests the best experience possible while holding health and sanitation as a top priority. Guests will only consume the food they make at their own station and no longer share family style as we have in the past.

New York Kitchen looks forward to welcoming you all back and wish you and your families good health.


Our interactive camps take our young chefs through food safety, knife skills, nutrition education, basic cooking skills and menu planning.

This 5-day workshop is not only a great way for your young Culinary Artist to see first-hand where fresh food comes from, but also to learn fundamental culinary skills! Each day your child will join us for breakfast, and then have the opportunity to be educated and engaged about the freshest crops that New York state has to offer. Chefs throughout the week will supply their knowledge and experience about the food that is grown in the state and how to cook it! Students that participate in the Kids’ Culinary Camp will be engaged in hands-on cooking using traditional methods of preparation as demonstrated by the Chef Instructor.

Day 1:

  • Kitchen Safety and Sanitation, Healthy baking

Day 2:

  • Proteins and center of the plate, Knife Skills

Day 3:

  • Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner: Chicken fabrication & preparation

Day 4:

  • Where’s the Beef? Burgers, Baby!

Day 5:

  • Everybody’s Ready for the Weekend: Pizza & Wings


Each day includes a lecture, cooking, and plenty to eat!
