We spoke with restaurant-goers across Rochester and Canandaigua and asked if they would consider going to a place that offered the best New York State food and drink all under one roof and we got a resounding yes.

How We Got to Our New Brand
We joined forces with creative agency Partners + Napier to examine our brand and challenged them to help us evolve and reach the people who would enjoy a place like ours. With their help, we’ve transformed into what we want to reflect – a one-of-kind place that’s fresh and fun for people who share our love for high-quality fare from around the state. And now we’ve got a new look, new vibe, and a great new name – New York Kitchen.

Thanks to partnerships with NYS farmers, wineries, breweries, cideries, distilleries, artisans and entrepreneurs, we’ve always been a hub for people to enjoy the state’s best food and drink. Calling ourselves a “kitchen” conveys that we’re a place to be hands-on, and a place where you can sit back, relax, and be surrounded by the same fun, sociable vibe you’d experience at home.

What Changed
Along with the name change comes a new set of brand values, updated visual assets, and a new restaurant menu that appeals to evolving tastes and preferences for dining out. Our new brand values remain consistent with our history and mission, but were simplified to clearly reflect what we stand for today: learning, experience, partnership, and hospitality.

Our restaurant features a new menu with farm-to-restaurant dishes, including casual comfort food and plant-based options. Visitors will notice a new entranceway, new signage, a bright and refreshed interior, and Adirondack chairs and new patio umbrellas in front where they can sit and enjoy the lakeside view.

Overall, we are focused on making our space more accessible and inviting for all visitors. So come on in – whether you want to take a cooking class from one of our chefs, visit our tasting room for a drink with friends, or enjoy the freshest seasonal fare at our restaurant – New York Kitchen is where you want to be.
